"Blue Moon' is a Corbin Cutter 39 Center Cockpit flush deck sailboat, highly regarded and well known for her bluewater offshore capabilities. The Corbin 39 was recognized by "Cruising World" in 1998 when considering performance, comfort and safety, the vessel emerged at the top of the list of "Best Offshore Cruising Sailboats".
A complete refit of the vessel in 2002 included a new 75 HP Yanmar diesel, major interior reconfiguration, all new wiring, plumbing, new electronics and new sails. "Blue Moon' is well appointed, shows very well and with minor interior cosmetic improvements is ready to to sail away.

The forward guest stateroom has a double berth to port and hanging locker w/ draws/to starboard. Aft to port is storage room with shelving and there is a hanging locker to starboard.
The main salon has a large "U" shape converible dinette to port , a settee/berth to starboard, with plenty of storage below and above.
The galley is aft of the dinette, nav station is opposite to starboard with the companionway to cockpit in the center. The vessels private Raritan head / shower entry is aft of the galley.
Moving further aft starboard, two large refrigerator / freezers are and storage compartments line the starboard hull and the engine compartment is in center, under the cockpit.
The aft Master stateroom has a Queen sized berth to port with hangin locker and more storage starboard.

The major refit taking several years as discribed and illustrated in this listed, began in 1998 following a fire in the engine compartment in 1997. The incident damaged aft section of the vessel but did not cause in any structual damage to the hull.
In addition, the Yanmar 75 HP diesel replaced a 50 HP Perkins 4-108 Diesel in 2007.
