Overview

This Defever 49 LRC (Long Range Cruiser)Pilothouse Trawler was built by CTF and is a soft chine trawler with a pilothouse. The soft chine gives you a stable and economical ride that are expected of Defever 49 Trawlers. This long range cruising trawler has a low fly bridge profile with a semi-displacement hull with full-length, prop-protecting keels. A handsome and timeless design, principal trawler features include wide and well-protected side-decks, a roomy pilothouse with excellent visibility, port & starboard deck doors, settee and direct bridge access, beautiful full teak interior, radar arch, and an extended flybridge with room for the Jolly Boat dinghy and dinghy davit.

The trawler interior features beautiful newly refinished teak parquet floors throughout the boat, a large main salon, and galley up with microwave/convection oven, electric stove-top, trash compactor, great Grunert freezer and refrigeration. Below the pilothouse is the Master Stateroom with walk around queen bed and en suite Head with separate shower stall. Forward is the Guest Stateroom with cross single berths and a separate Head. The interior has recently been redecorated with the latest designer colors.

Twin Ford Lehman (135HP)diesels with low hours give you great long range cruising dependability. Westerbeke generator also has low hours. The engine room is bright and roomy having been recently detailed. The engines and generator have been completely serviced including new hoses and clamps, where needed, new impellers, fully serviced heat exchangers and cooling systems, and all are in excellent operating condition. This work was completed Sept.2007. Electronics include Furuno radar, Furuno GPS, Furuno Loran, Furuno "C"Map GPS, Depth, Simrad Robertson Autopilot, SSB.

ACCOMMODATIONS
MAIN SALON:
This vessel has beautiful teak throughout with refinished teak parquet floors (Completed Sept,2007),and wood blinds in the Main Salon. She is ready to cruise! All you have to do is step on board and bring your personal items and your friends and guests. She sleeps (4)in the Master Stateroom, and Forward Guest Twin Berths. The Pilothouse dinette table also converts into additional sleeping quarters, if needed for extra guests. This boat has been well maintained with only 2 owners over the years.

“You Gotta Believe” is a perfect, comfortable home for live aboard or for long range cruising. There is storage throughout the vessel which was specifically designed for long range cruising. This is a traditional 49’ Defever (soft chine) with the raised pilothouse, Portuguese bridge, and flybridge with dingy davit and storage. You access the living quarters from a curved stairway just before entering the Pilothouse.

Entering the cabin from the Aft Deck, all guests enter the main cabin through double teak doors. The very first thing you will notice is a spacious, delightful Main Salon with beautiful newly refinished teak parquet floors. They are truly beautiful! There are two designer reclining chairs for comfort. There is also a beautiful custom hand carved Entertainment Center, which was especially designed and built by a local artist and craftsman and a loving family friend who enjoyed many wonderful times aboard “You Gotta Believe”.

MASTER STATEROOM:
The Master Stateroom is mid-ship just below the Main Salon with a queen center-line berth. Privacy door secures this stateroom from the rest of the vessel and guests. Built-in night stands on each side of the bed along with a built-in lighted, mirrored vanity across from the foot of the bed. There is fantastic storage in hanging lockers, built-in shoe shelving, drawers; along with drawer storage below the bed and storage under the bed. Reading lights on each side of the bed. New designer comforter, and decorator pillows highlight the comfort of this stateroom. The floors are beautiful refinished teak parquet.

En suite head with separate shower stall and a very unique feature of electric towel warmers.

GUEST STATEROOM:

PILOTHOUSE:
The teak parquet flooring has been refinished. High/low table converts into extra berth, if needed for additional guests. Specially built, unique storage compartments built for long range cruising. You can efficiently organize and easily access all stow-ables and non-perishables during cruising. Navigation station has a map drawer and extra storage compartments. Electronics are superb for long range cruising. Visibility from the Pilothouse is well lighted with large windows. The Portuguese bridge ensures great visibility during inclement weather cruising. Port and Starboard pilothouse doors enable safe and easy access to the walk-around decks.

MECHANICAL
The engine room is bright and roomy having been recently detailed and has sound shield protection. The engines and generator have been completely serviced including new hoses and clamps, where needed, new impellers, fully serviced heat exchangers and cooling systems, and all are in excellent operating condition. The engine room can be accessed from one of three very accessible places on the boat --- from the cockpit lazarette, from a hatch in the galley floor, or through four (4) large hatches in the Main Salon floor.
