“'Distant Star'”
Overview
A modern classic, our bristol Grand Banks 32 Sedan 'Distant Star' is one of the most popular small trawler designs ever produced.
Powered with a single 6-cylinder 135HP Lehman diesel with NEW aluminum fuel tanks (April 2013), owners report long hours of 7-knot cruising at 2 gallons per hour and an extensive range. A full-length skeg protects the underwater gear, and hard aft chines help to stabilize the ride.
'Distant Star's straight forward and practical cabin layout is compact, very efficiently arranged and will satisfy the basic requirements of the average cruising couple. Storage is adequate, the teak woodwork is elegant, and visibility from the lower helm is very good. The aft deck is large enough for a couple of deck chairs, and wide side decks provide good foredeck access.
'Distant Star' has been updated throughout, impeccably maintained as presented and is a beautiful example of classic vessel in bristol condition. The owners are moving up to a larger vessel and are looking for an offer.
