She was refitted by a factory authorized dealer in 1996 with Twin Yanmar 230HP Turbo diesels (1292hrs). A new Westerbeke Generator was also installed at the same time and later upgraded to 8.0KW (2002)(415hrs). In 1996, the hull was Imroned with a new barrier coat.

Enter the main salon through a sliding glass door which also has a screen door for added ventilation. The NEW INTERIOR decor has a wide, open feeling with beautiful teak accents. This Carver design utilizes the full width of the hull to create a very open main salon. The sofas have been reupholstered in beautiful, soft, neutral Leatherette fabric. The starboard sofa/dinette converts into a double berth with a tastefully disguised privacy curtain; while the port sofa converts into a twin berth.
Forward of the galley is the Master Stateroom which has a double centerline berth and a private entrance to the head compartment. There are two (2) hanging lockers in the stateroom which are cedar lined and lighted, along with multiple drawers for additional storage. The head can also be accessed from the main hallway across from the galley. The head also has a large fiberglass shower enclosure and a LectraSan toilet.
