2005 Cruisers Yachts 460 Express

Entering the salon, one finds an open and bright area with custom lighting not typical of most express yachts. The 460 Express has lots of head room and an expansive salon with upgraded surround sound for entertaining or just relaxing. The galley is located to port and is fully functional with all of the appliances and amenities needed to prepare gourmet meals. Adjacent to galley within the salon is a large, ultra-leather settee and dinette. A multi-lighted beverage locker and entertainment center is located forward of the settee. The cherrywood cabin sole throughout is a synthetic mar resistant flooring, plus cherry wood upgrades are in staterooms and heads.

Moving forward from the salon, the forward  private VIP stateroom includes the optional layout with large berth to starboard and the single berth to port in the V arrangement. Private access to the VIP head is provided to port with day head access provided from the salon.

The master suite is situated amidships just aft of the salon. The master suite is full-beam and includes a queen island berth, large vanity, and separate head and shower stall.

Moving up and on deck seating is provided to port of the helm and via a large wrap-around settee and table aft and to port. The wet-bar with refrigerator, icemaker is located just aft of the helm along with the flat panel TV. Cruisers provides access to the foredeck via molded steps and a walk-through windshield not found on many other express yachts. This makes handling lines or just lounging on the foredeck a breeze.

Engine access is provided via a large electronically actuated hatch in the cockpit.

• Separate 12V starting and alternator charging systems with Volvo EDC engine control systems
• ZF model 280 IV, 1.77:1 reduction, V drive marine gears (unit serial #s 20047945/port and 20047940/starboard) coupled to single section 2” diameters shafts using Strong dripless shaft log glands

Cruisers engineers thoughtful deck design makes handling lines and accessing ground tackle and gear a joy.

The foredeck is sleek and uncluttered as ground tackle and windlass is located below a flush-mounted hatch. Access to the foredeck is provided via side decks and a clever walk-through windshield. The enormous cockpit with custom Plasdeck Outdoor Decking provides seating and comfort for many owners and guests. All amenities are provided on deck including wet-bar, refrigerator/icemaker, flat panel TV, and large table.

The extended swim platform with is large enough to accommodate a tender or PWC.
